Inflatable hot tub

So, the wife talked me into getting an inflatable hot tub. My assumption was that we'd set it up on our back porch, as it was built with a hot tub hook up to begin with. However, then she wanted to set it up in the garage. I mean, sure, it's cold outside.

Then, she announced that she wanted to move the dining room table over and put it up in the dining room. My response was, immediately, "No. Absolutely not." Of course, nothing sets the wife off more than being told "no" to any of her slightest whims, so that was a thing. Even my "It is a disaster waiting to happen" argument didn't sway her much.

Of course, then she talked to her friend who already has an inflatable hot tub, who told her that getting in and out of it splashes a lot of water around. She'll believe her friend over me — she'll believe anyone over me, actually.

So, at least that crisis has been averted.

Out on deck would be so awesome in winter. I always wanted to experience being in the hot water with cold air around… clear night sky full of stars

I don’t like being very hot, but I would love a hot tub for winter time

@WaryWitchWandering Best thing ever. Then you can go roll in a snow bank and jump back into the tub.

@WaryWitchWandering It's great being in a hot tub outdoors in the winter. A few years ago, in November, I rented a chalet in England with a hot tub outside, sat in it drinking wine and reading a book. When it rained I just balanced an umbrella over me to stop the book getting wet.
@WaryWitchWandering Relaxing in the steamy water with a glass of wine and snowflakes falling around you is heaven on earth.

@WaryWitchWandering My Mom and I used to sit in her hot tub and watch it snow. It was lovely.
