I Have Random Thoughts Of Randomness

So, the big boss and our financial person were just in my office. They told me that they were laying off our events coordinator because we don't do events much anymore and there wasn't enough work to justify keeping her on. They wanted me to revoke her privileges on the website back end, adjust anywhere her name appeared on the site and so on.

On top of everything else that has happened this week out in the world, this just sort of depresses me. She's a nice person, just had a baby last year.

I wish there were something I could do for her.
