@sensualbeauty1 I had a talk with my Canadian friend who is in Florida still. He said he'll return when the hockey playoffs start which will be the spring thaw here,

@SageWanderer That sounds about right, the hockey playoffs are pretty big here in Canada.☺️

@sensualbeauty1 When I first got interested in hockey (a long time ago) I was a big Canadiens fan. It wasn't until the Penguins drafted Mario Lemieux did my loyalty change. Now with Sid the Kid, Geno, Phil the Thrill Kessel and others they are exciting to watch most nights.

@SageWanderer Yeah they're one of the original teams for sure. 😊 I find it ironic how many of the Canadian players go to the US hockey teams or are drafted by them. Is that the Kessel who used to play for Toronto?

Yes, Kessell played for Toronto. I remember when all the players were Canadian. Now there are quite a few from Europe, mostly Russian and Swedes. My friend is a big Montreal fan.

@SageWanderer Yes that's very true, some of the really gifted kids who play hockey around Ottawa and CP have been drafted into the NHL. I remember my Dad as a kid, liked the Habs and Chicago.
