They exist but then you have to change bags all the time and stuff and sometime sit gets stuck in the motors. It's not worth the hastle, blowers are reliable and then you can scoop it up.

@MartinTheFirst They are made a lot better now The one I used in the 80's was a total pain in the azz. I bought a Stihl a couple of years ago and it zips right through a pile of leaves with little trouble. Just make sure the leaves are dry.
Edit: They are good for average yards with maybe a couple or three big trees. You don't want to try to mulch a forest. The mulch is excellent for azalea beds. it is acidic and the plants love it.

Because when the leaves get wet, they get stuck in the bag and it all clogs up. Also when you go to dump the leaves, all kinds of bugs are in it.

It's so the landscapers can blow the leaves from property to property then come back again next week and do it all over again - that's how they stay in business while destroying the environment and creating noise pollution.

POurs can do both -- blow the leaves, or with another attachment, suck them up and chop them. BUT if you suck and chop, you keep filling up an attached storage bag and have to keep emptying it.

You would need a big bag!

when you blow leaves away, they are leaf blowers, when you suck the leaves in, they are leaf suckers, also there are really no leaf suckers, maybe a few, so, now i hope you understand the meaning of blowing and sucking,

Some prefer blowing to sucking, that's why 😏
