Why do we use leaf-blowers instead of leaf-suckers?

They exist but then you have to change bags all the time and stuff and sometime sit gets stuck in the motors. It's not worth the hastle, blowers are reliable and then you can scoop it up.

@MartinTheFirst They are made a lot better now The one I used in the 80's was a total pain in the azz. I bought a Stihl a couple of years ago and it zips right through a pile of leaves with little trouble. Just make sure the leaves are dry.

Edit: They are good for average yards with maybe a couple or three big trees. You don't want to try to mulch a forest. The mulch is excellent for azalea beds. it is acidic and the plants love it.
