I'll be very sincere about this... In the scope of sw, why is misandry tolerated, even accepted

But being a misogynist gets you crucified? Neither are okay

Don't mind me, just wondering about a little observation I made...

Being a dick is being a dick. Regardless if one has a dick or not.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@Longpatrol A clit is like a tiny dick...🙄
A plethora of Gen Z men are getting their advice on masculinity from Andrew Tate. Meanwhile, a plethora of Gen Z females are getting their ideas of being a lady from Megan Stallion and such. This a reason, if not the reason, why men and women in modern days seem to be so sexist against one another.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@BRUUH true? I know who they are, haven't really payed attention to what they've been saying
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
Not my experience in here. Women are called sluts and men are called incels. But I only see one of them whining about it. 😉
I think that it's easier for women to notice women getting insulted, and it's easier for men to notice men getting insulted. Our brains literally filter out in our memory with bias. We see US getting shit on, we notice it cause it's more relevant. We see others, most people don't. I think men and women both have unique problems to them, which the other often times has difficulty understandnig. We gotta listen to each other and be kind
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@BRUUH this makes a lot of sense to me.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@BRUUH Maybe it's more common that one only defend their own gender group.

For me personally I disagree. If a woman would post that only women are targeted with sexist things I'd answer the same as on this post. That it's not true.

Us who truly mean we value equality, we can see any type of inquality outside our own gender groups.

To me it's common sense and basic human respect.
SW-User
Yeah they blame the effects of their experiences on the entire gender lmao
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@SW-User certainly. That's their point of view, and unfortunately their reality
SW-User
@caPnAhab for example you seem to be a wholesome dude
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@SW-User aw thank you
TexChik · F

Ask him . I refuse to believe a woman would behave that way .
TexChik · F
@iamonfire696 Given the stupidity and randomness of the attacks I would think it's teenagers that will soon be back in school.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@TexChik I don’t have a bug up my butt. Just letting you know that it doesn’t these attacks aren’t happening to just conservatives. That’s all 🤷🏼‍♀️
TexChik · F
@iamonfire696 You seemed pensive to me.
Whenever you're puzzled over the hypocrisy in human nature or have questions like this just consider the possibility that people are idiots and you have your answer. But then you're just getting started because you have to keep in mind you're one of those people as well.
It seems to be a thing atm. I dont like it. Honestly, one now blocked user made me mad yesterday with his views. I get we cant all know each other's experiences, but writing post after post after post about how awful the other gender is, is painful to read, especially when we've faced up against people like that in real life.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@V00doo The way I see it is perpetual. For example: Because I say something bad about you, so you do to me then I back at you. It's circular.

I hope not to meet such people in real life
I don’t like it when I see it and I do try to speak out against it.

Because you’re not wrong. I see otherwise intelligent women make posts about “why do men do xyz" because they’ve had bad experiences, and get upset when a guy says, "hey, I’ve never done that !"

But one thing I’ve noticed is that some men won’t allow criticism of such women, either.("You don’t know what she might’ve been through !")

I posted something about International Men’s Day on here one year, a day to celebrate the men in our lives, our brothers, fathers, husbands, partners, friends. The only pushback I received about it were from a few men ! That surprised me. 😳
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@bijouxbroussard thanks for that post, I think I missed it.

When you celebrate fathers day, mens day or whatever .. it's not like you're celebrating abusive fathers, etc... It's to acknowledge all the good
SW-User
Both can be as bad as each other
Toxic is toxic on both sides
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@SW-User you are correct
I get crucified all the time for misandry.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@MorbidCynic I appreciate your perspective. That's why I asked, to widen mine
SnailTeeth · 36-40
It's just the pendulum swinging the other way.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Liberals hipocracy rules.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
I don't see misandry on here; I see that a lot of women have terrible experiences with cruel, obnoxious, or clueless men.
Too many are hurt and angry and haven't dealt with it ....or got over it .

I see it in my gender, hurt women who are still hurting and deflect their anger onto any man who irritates them .

I see it in reverse too. Men who hate on all women all because of one.

And then of course theres the newest generation who have been encouraged to 'not compromise', to feel justified, to expect idealism and just 'drop their sorry ass' if ever a conflict arises .

We are lost in our own ego and hurt and want to blame someone for it .

Which of course is a vicious cycle of hate .
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
It’s not right to crucify men or women as a whole gender.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@caPnAhab Some do though. Some have such a hate for men and not all men are bad.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@iamonfire696 I know that, I know you know that. When I had this thought, I think I took this place a bit too seriously. Some people vent out their frustration through humor, I do that too

I feel sorta like a dummy now

@LordShadowfire I knew I couldn't be the only one to notice.

I'll admit, I laughed at the pig post (I remember that one).

I didn't like it though, I just use humor to deal with things that bother me
