I am late. Looking for halloween decorations so when the girls get home from school on the 31st atleast there is something for them to see. I only decorate inside though. Mainly the dining room. I don't care for outside the house. I don't care for impressing people.

I'm the same - after my daughter got upset about how I handled her desire to get fully into Halloween last year (I don't believe in it) I've said she can decorate her room.

On the road where I live I've seen only two houses with outsides decorated already for Halloween on about 3 km of road with about 100 houses along it.

The rule of thumb is that if going trick-or-treating, only go to marked/decorated houses.

What I don't understand about it is the 'trick or treat' bit. Kids want lollies so I don't know how the 'trick' bit works.

@zonavar68 I don't even know if we're taking ours trick or treating coz you hear sick people putting things inside chocolates/lollies and kids being so unwell the next day. My decorating is for the girls. When time comes they don't appreciate it anymore that's when I'll stop.
