You know, I really like you and your attitude. The current owners are looking to sell--I am just a middle man--but I know that they are most interested in making sure that the new owner(s) have the right attitude toward this revered langmark of America's "First City", a mecca of the rich, famous...of actors, writers, musicians, composers, dancers...of powerful men of this country and the world...a vibrant city, a great city, the City That Never Sleeps...New York City.

I think you just might BE that guy, the one to own this great landmark for years...until you resell it at a huge profit to the next owner...the next in the line of its honored and honorable stewards.

@Nitedoc Oh, owning property in Europe is VERY tricky. Foreigners can't actually own houses in Italy.

I'm sorry that you had the misfortune of working with brokers unfamiliar with international property laws, rights, etc. Very awful to find persons without the proper background attempting to consummate an intricate, delicate deal. It's really too bad that the group behind the Eiffel Tower did not hire me, as the number of people with the knowledge required to successfully make an ironclad sale of a prime attraction like that...well, we are rather few in number, to be sure.

Well, I know when a prospective client has to bow out, and I respect your decision; thanks for making "BB" available for other parties. I need to call the next in line right now, if you'll excuse me--the owners really insist that I make progress.
