Well, attitude is usually a reaction to the way someone is behaving. Take a look in the mirror.

@OogieBoogie Well, I'm a working man now so I don't hang out with teenagers. I'm not sure that is material though. I am an astute observer of humans and know all about interpersonal skills. I have experience guiding interns this year.

Everyone seems to want things immediately and cave into their impulses. It's not unique to teenagers. In case you haven't noticed, we live in a "just do it," "get it overnight," and "don't wait, do it now" society.

Personally, I find it a challenge dealing with all ages of people because they tend to lack self-discipline, have a lot invested in conformity, and tend to want to chat it up non-stop.
@MarkPaul i dont find people hard to talk to at all - one just needs to adapt ones communication a little and listen.
Everyone has a style, a sub culture and personal expressive needs, one just has to let them speak and then follow.

And if, by your comment about "not hanging out with teenagers coz you are a working man", insinuate that i dont won't and are some sort aged out wierdo...
...I work at a high school.
Have done for nearly two decades.
Have watched the social and behavioral change that is happening to kids.

This made me laugh tho:

Do you ?
That's cute .
Takes most people most of a life time.

If you really are so astute and know all about interpersonal skills, why do you have so little tolerance and so many questions about how others talk to you, eh?

Shouldn't you have all your answers already if you are so knowledgeable?

@OogieBoogie Well I have a trace of shyness I guess you can say. Some people claim it could be social anxiety, but that's not it. I mean, maybe I do but if so then that's also just a trace as it turns out to be. In any case... could it be possible you are spending so much time with school kids that you have lost sight that the adult world is transforming as well? It's not just kids.

It's not reasonable or realistic to expect that I will continuously be prepared to engage in conversation with everyone who infiltrates my space with literally no warning. I mean that's just not sustainable. So yeah, I occasionally speak out against those kinds of intrusions.

I don't have all the answers. I'm continually hunting for new information. It's an integral part of my profession as a data analyst. I'm a fan of lifelong learning.
Yup! In one ear and right out the other!
