Part of my son’s bedtime routine involves reading a book of his choosing, sometimes singing a song, and always closing with prayer. Well tonight, the

book he selected was his Bible. When he selected it, he said: Mommy, I want to respect God and I want to praise the Lord.

He then proceeded to open it and find the page he wanted to read. He began to read from Psalm 22, but specifically two verses — 9 and 10. After the reading of the Word, I said “Amen”.

He then began to sing, ‘Jesus Loves Me’ and then ended with a prayer asking God to help him rest and have a great day tomorrow.

Not often am I rendered speechless.
In this moment, I’m truly in awe of the power and the promise of God. I’m reminded of the honor bestowed upon me to ‘train up a child in the way he should go’ so that as he grows older, he will not depart from it.

I am so full. So completely full.
Thank You, Lord.

I really enjoyed reading this. What a blessing. Thank you so much for sharing this. You're the greatest mother for sharing your love of God with your son. We need more people like you in this world. I love that verse you quoted. Is so true. God bless you and your son and your family.

The only time to brainwash them is when they are too young to understand. Congratulations, you have succeeded.
