I Have Something to Say

my Recipe for a good thick Clam Chowder , why ? because they don't really put any Clams in the new England Clam Chowder , its all Chowder sauce and Potatoes anyway here it is , get some baby clams in the can and some whole mushrooms and some onions as well as New England clam chowder in the can , slice up the mushrooms and onions and fry them up in another pan , combine the canned baby clams with the new England clam chowder in a pot and cook on a low heat , also add garlic butter either to the mushrooms and onions in the frying pan or in the soup in the pot , combine both when mushrooms and onions are ready , hint : the onions take a little longer than the mushrooms to get soft so do the onions first then add the mushrooms later on , you can also add cheese to the soup as its cooking or heating up , you gotta stir it though to mix the melted cheese in it more evenly

Seems like you really know how to cook. I don't eat shellfish but also make homemade soups, better quality when you make it at home...cream of mushroom soup, tomato-rice soup, etc.

cream of chicken and cream of mushroom are great soups especially those condensed ones , the other ones are too liquidy

@FurryFace: I stopped eating canned soups because of the MSG about 10 years ago and started making homemade. If I do happen to taste some of the canned soups I find it repulsive in comparison to homemade. Which is kind of sad not to use them because there are so many recipes that call for canned soup, guess I can find a recipe to make the equivalent to one can of soup and use that. Kind of what I do when making broccoli casserole.

@FurryFace: All those were messing with my heart so I can't use them. Trying to find a brown gravy mix without MSG added, I think Aldi might have them they are going to eliminate it in their foods and already have in some items.

@FurryFace: I was having palpitations after meals and irregular heartbeats so bad I thought I was going to have to go the hospital, Furry. It was affecting my heart that bad.

@FurryFace: I made a visit to the doctor to get my blood check for iron levels and the nurse said I had palpitations, she said a lot of people gt them when they are older. I think I'd eaten yogurt for breakfast and it had MSG in back then and that's what caused the palpitations but I didn't know it then. She didn't say anything the last couple of visits and I talked to the doctor about it. Magnesium helps to block the MSG from entering the brain and helps prevent the palpitations.
