I Have Something to Say

Big hugs going out today to women who would love to have children but cannot, to those who have had to bury their own children (something no parent should ever have to do), those whose mothers have died, those whose mothers no longer recognize them due to Alzheimer's or senile dementia, and those who have to limit contact with their mothers because of physical or emotional abuse.

I don't want to be a downer, but this is a tough day for some of us, who are reminded of something important that is missing in our lives.

Nice sentiment. I lost my mother when I was 11. I think of her often, the wonderful things she was never able to experience.

@samueltyler2 Oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your mother at such a young age. :( It sounds like you had a good relationship with her. I hope that there's some comfort in that, though it must be sad to think of all that she has missed, and that you have missed by not having her with you.
