What does your name mean to you

Do you hear it said with affection often .. do you hear it actually being said ?

Do you want to protect it … work hard to keep it relevant or are you not bothered and have no name’ … the world has billions of names in it ~ some exactly like yours … even the same surname

But why do some names get noticed and others don’t ?

Is it stardom … success and heritage that some names are known … influencers and people who are making good and sadly bad differences in the world

Hmm our names are like an invisible tag , some are scanned … others have no barcode lol sorry but it feels that way sometimes

Our bank cards have our names on them … ooo big wow , the only place our name has prestige eh or the burdens of adulting when that bank card has paid the bills and runs on a budget then what do our names feel like ?

Just like Patrick Swayze said when he okayed the part of the character Johnny Castle

You don't understand the way it is for somebody like me. Last month I'm eating Jujubes to keep alive. This month, women are stuffing diamonds in my pockets. I'm balancing on shit and, quick as that, I can be down there again.

Yeah that . lol

But seriously I know what it feels like to have a place in this world and to feel … well … nameless

The Rythmn of life is blinding , restricting and liberating. It’s a force to be reckoned with

Just call me Storm … or Jazz haha derp, such a dweeb x

Anyhoo zzzZ

My name is just something my parents named me. I don’t need to see it in bright lights or to be famous.

My name is not who I am, just what people call me.

The name Melissa has its origins in Greek mythology, specifically from the story of Melissa, the nymph who fed Zeus honey as an infant. In Greek, Melissa translates directly to bee, symbolizing the insect's association with abundance, sweetness, and fertility.
But my parents named me after a song by the Allman Brothers Band . I usually go by one of my nicknames tho. 🌻💛but i agree with @Sojournersoul its not who i am

What my name means to me is the same thing that I have tattooed around my neck. Strength honor courage commitment loyalty. And my good name and my word is everything to me. Like Scarface once said all a man has is his balls in his word and I'm not breaking either one for nobody

Meaning of Corey
Meanings: heart is courage, where courage is a blind, not afraid to go it alone, hollow when needs to be

Scottish: seething pool

Gaelic: ravine

English: hill hollow

Anglo-Saxon: chosen

Irish: from the round hill or hollow

Greek: king of the Olympiad, “king of the hill” derives from here
Mine's easy, dweeb. Wish my name came with a textbook, but it already did, I'd find my sensitives taking stabs at the Goliaths of this world. I let it go at times, but often it's fun for me just taking those stabs and seeing how I can prod them. I still think it's a worthy cause, even if it is now most often an act.
I've wanted to be the invisible man and go unnoticed, I've wanted to be someone people want around.

Right now the biggest battles are being fought in my head, the name is always just a name

Not my name

I'd have to say I like my name, but it isn't anything more than what I answer to when called.
