I Have a Question

Do people who spoil their kids rotten ever think about the potential serious harm they're doing to their kids? I've known plenty of spoiled brats who as adults struggle with life. They're shocked when they don't get all the special treatment they were given as kids. They especially struggle with the fact that they can't always get their way and seem to struggle with life's everyday ups and downs. I know parenting is not easy and all parents make mistakes, but it seems like common sense that it's a bad idea to treat your child like "king of the hill."

I've never met anyone who was spoiling their kid who was actually aware of what they were doing. Their methods have already been justified in their own minds.
