If you are asking the question then you must have thought about it for a while.
Jeremy will not be forgotten if you do decide to change the name.
Everyone here will always remember him.
If you have a name you would like, then make the change.

Yes, if that's what you want to do.

It's a hard choice - he was such an active member of here and then brought you into our world.
If you do change it, maybe leave a clue in the new handle (aka screen name) to say Cigarguy is still here in spirit.
Like maybe put a CG at the end of the new name if you do. Its just an idea

That's a tough one. I can think of reasons why you should. And reasons why you shouldn't.

Why do you want to?
I think everything will remind you of him so far... this name or any other thing related to him. Also, reading the comments I can tell you wanna hold on to the name more than letting it go. I suggest you keep it. But if it hurts you so much then it is okay to change it.
DragonFruit · 70-79, M
I believe that should be your choice, and not mine.
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@DragonFruit thank you

Well, I have come to know you all as Cigarguys and knowing you lost a member still does not change who you were or who you are in my eyes.
I do not like site name changes, but I totally get it if you want to change it for your own coping.

@WillaKissing thank you, I'm going to think about it for a while before I do. We all love cigars and that wasn't charged since he left us. The name make me happy and hurts me at the same time.
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
@Cigarguys My last thought is keeping the name memorializes your friendship of the person who passed and your selves.
To Change it is like forgetting what you had and loved at once point in time.
Hard choice either way given all the emotions behind everything. Good luck.

If you do change people may not know they are talking to you or the back story but if it hurts maybe you should . You are one of the cigar guys so it was your account also .
Sutten · 41-45, F
If you feel you really want to then change it, but members have come to know you by this username, possibly remove the s and leave it Cigarguy as an option unless you already thought of something else.
