Hey guys and gals, what oil do you use for shallow or deep frying?

I used canola oil oh those were the days ….:)🍷 I just saw this, for spaghetti nights

I don't fry
I'll use air fryer
Unless it's wet batter

I use coconut or red palm oil for shallow frying and vegetable oil for deep frying.

Canola or sunflower oil.

Depends what I'm frying. For fried chicken in a shallow cast iron pan...Crisco.

Stir fries or deep frying...Peanut oil. Very little smoke.

Everything else...olive oil

No drink and fry for me, unless it's airfry

I don't know who else does this but after drop frying I placed a paper towel in a funnel to strain the oil... Takes longer but the oil also lasts longer
