What's something in your life that is stranger than fiction?

Watching the movies of my life....... The similarities the differences - 27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28He chose the lowly and despised things of the world, and the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast in His presence.…

But I still choose to be in the light and walk the walk like I am in the light for all to see like I have nothing to hide, and that maybe just maybe they might praise God up in Heaven!! I am not afraid anymore!!! I want the Good God to touch me and to view me as a gift!!! I know that I am going to Heaven am I going alone or not??!!!! We gotta go out into the worlds and win souls even those who thought they were saved to truly be saved and born again!! And baptized!!! I just want to know and be known!!! But be in the world but not of it! To reach out to God above all and to have Him as my anchor, and the wind beneath my wings!!!
@saintsong Oh, yes. For a woman whose whole life is devoted to loving Jesus, witnessing, helping others, and leading people to Christ, there are several beautiful verses that fit you, faithful sister.

My first choice would be:

“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” — John 15:8 (KJV)

That seems especially fitting because your life is bearing fruit for the Lord—your love, your service, and the people you are helping, come to know Christ.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 (KJV) That's you all over.

That speaks beautifully of you, who gives your whole life to serving Jesus, not for recognition, but because you love Him.

“And they that be wise, shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever.” — Daniel 12:3 (KJV)

That one is absolutely beautiful for you, who spends your life helping others find the Lord. ❤

God bless you for who you are, what you do for Christ, and your faithful dedication. I'm so proud to know you and honored.

How many times things happened to me that could have easily taken me out or disabled me. I made a list 35 years ago after I was in an emergency landing. We also had a broken ball joint on the car we were in when we drove to Tijuana during that trip. It was on a mountain road south of the city. It could have ended badly for us but didn’t. A lot of things happened during childhood and more as an adult.
@cherokeepatti I'm sure. 🫂

My spouse 😂
@gregloa I was waiting on that one from someone. It was just too tempting. Hahaha

How everything always works out. Like laundry fits just enough in a random bag.
@class It does, doesn’t it. Yep.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
I would say the current condition of the world is stranger than fiction.
@Gibbon I'd say you hit the nail on the head with that one.
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@Gibbon

Especially in California, Los Angeles
and San Francisco in particular. 🙄
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@Thinkerbell don't leave out New York City and it's elected mayor. The voters definitely need a WTF put to them.

Ahhh!
You wouldn't believe it if I told you.
@TheHammer Still.... I'd love to hear it. You never know.
voluntary machete disposal bins... is an actual thing to combat the rise in machette violence.🇦🇺
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I didn't know that. That's pretty cool
The profound synchronicity by which my needs were met, in full measure, by precise timing.
I am humbled, and remain forever grateful.

@CallMeWhatever I hope that change is for you soon. I'm sorry to hear that.
CallMeWhatever · FNew
@LadyGrace it’s ok, I can’t change what has happened only try to be the best I can be going forwards
@CallMeWhatever That's a great attitude, yes indeed.

PTSD. It’s pretty freaky sh*t! 😎
Ohhhh my marriage..

Being married to a psychopath narcissist, you literally wouldn't believe me, I for years was blaming myself on my situation, blaming myself for everything.. The behaviors... Basically they do things that would make me seem crazy if I explain it to anyone..
@AbsolutelyFabulous I know exactly what you're talking about and you're right. Some people just don't understand how they really are. I know exactly how they are and I'm glad that you do as well. I hope you get away from this person. It's not good for your health. It can ruin it.

@AbsolutelyFabulous So difficult. Very Strong boundaries with no self doubt or self guilt are the only way to prevent these people from hurting us...

Kind of a long story ,we had a farm cat lived outside ,i went out one morning and there was grey dead in the yard,this was Christmas eve morning. I got a shovel and hacked out a small grave wrapped him said goodbye bye and buried him . An hour or so later i heard a scratching on the basement door, went over opened the door and out walks grey the cat.I was speechless, i just buried this cat!! First i thought the cat i buried wasn't grey but I'd seen that cat every day for 2 years . So i called it a Christmas miracle and the cat got to stay indoors, it gets stranger our basement has one interior door and no windows, how did the cat get in? I was tempted to go dig up the grave but ,you don't mess with Christmas miracles!
Funny how a conference room breeds total silence, but a Teams call breeds unwarranted bravado.
fun4us2b · M
There is something so out there - but I really can't say it...
@fun4us2b I'd sure love to hear it
Iwillwait · M
@LadyGrace Ditto!
Iwillwait · M
@fun4us2b What is it!?
Rabscuttle · 41-45
Water. I mean, you freeze it and it gets less dense. You apply pressure- not heat, just pressure- and it melts. It's like it was designed exclusively to laugh at physics.
@Rabscuttle Now that's clever. That's a great answer.
