@InterdimensionalSideEye I relate, because i've also fallen down on my own empathy. But I've devloped a new perspective that really changed how I see thigns, and really makes me stronger, and unable to be defeated.
Compassion isn't just being weak with someone, but being strong for them. So, it's not just about feeling what they do and suffering along side them, but taking on their pain and lifting them up. I learned recently that while compassion can be used against us, if we pair it with wisdom, it cannot be.
