Dream rememberers or dream forgetters , which are you?

Possibly another side effect of anxiety med? I’ve started remembering my dreams lately.
I didn’t used to.

Not loving it.
They’re not exactly the feel good kind… but it explains a lot.

Like why I’d wake up crying and not know why.

Maybe my mind has always been processing things at night. Now I just get to see it.
Sleep used to be quiet. I'd just kinda feel them when i woke up. I prefer that much more.

I remember mine and when I’m not on a med for nerve pain, I can control almost all of them. And much more.

@BrandNewMan If you think that’s witchy, you don’t want to know other types!

@MellyMel22 Lol .. perhaps
@MellyMel22 Tell us about the dirty ones 👀

I tend to forget mine. A combination of the brain damage and the cannabis I use, it represses REM sleep.

When I take tolerance breaks, I have vivid dreams, some of which have been breathtakingly beautiful. I'm okay remembering those. 😌

Ever since I started taking meds for my jaw pain I've had the worst nightmares. I wish I didn't remember them.
@TheRealBarbossa i wish you didn't either
I most remember how I felt.
@0uijaFinger that's how i had always been

I remember usually only what was happening right when I woke up. Sometimes I can remember more than other times but they start to fade very fast and I just say oh well and stop trying to remember. But I can tell if they were good dreams or bad just from a general feeling .
@4thdimensiondream that's how was usually for me

In anxious states I have two strategies... one, I consciously think of a relaxing locale... beaches or peaceful mtn meadows.

The other ... another time.
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
I remember my dreams most of the time. I have really weird dreams usually, mostly about people I haven't seen or heard from in years.
Harmonium1923 · 56-60, M
Usually a forgetter but sometimes the anxiety dreams stay with me a while.
@Harmonium1923 i never used to remember. Maybe flashes at best
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I remember some in detail, some are patchy and some I forget. Sometimes I have really detailed dreams in a couple of days in a row.
@CrazyMusicLover mine have been kinda patchy. But enough detail that i remember
I don't usually remember having dreams at all. I maybe remember one or two every few months.
@ostfuidctyvm i never remembered. If i did it was a quick flash

DragonFruit · 70-79, M
I tend to remember my dreams most of the time, regardless of what they are about.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
I never remember any of the good ones, just the night terror ones.
@Degbeme i uses to have night terrors when i was young. Just hoping those don't come back
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@Bexsy Oh I hope they don`t too. Sounds like you have enough going on right now.
