@antonioioio I remember getting tinker toys.
About two minutes fiddling with those and then they became obnoxious drum sets.
Dads pissed, Time to go outside.

@Adrift I never remembered tinker here . definitely not when I was a young boy. The only tinkers I ever knew were traveling people going around Ireland in horse draw caravans 😊

@antonioioio I remember getting up in the middle of the night and riding it in the living room and getting yelled at to go back to bed.
Looking back on it I dont know who my parents survived having so many kids.

@exexec That reminds of these friends I had, whos parents were never home.
The little brother got a can of oven cleaner and a lighter, and made a flame thrower that burned a big hole in the kitchen floor.
Nobody ever said anything about it.
Its like the parents didn't care.

@Jenny1234 The Barbie dream house! That picture is exactly like the one I had... the yellow elevator and everything else. I also had a Baby Alive, but my mom said it was too messy and wouldn't let me feed it anymore.😂
And the Easy Bake Oven!... I wanted one of those so much and never got one... so I lived out that wish with getting one for my daughter when she was little.🤭

@StarLily Toys were so good back in those days. What I really wanted was trucks and walkie talkies but my mom said no, they’re for boys ffs
