What is something you saw in someone’s house that made you never go back?

They didn’t wash their dishes. I’m dead serious. They didn’t wash dishes in that house. They just wiped them down with a paper towel and put them in the cabinet. I saw that with my own eyes. All their dishes were sticky, smelled funny, and had a weird color. Their cabinets were full of ants attracted to the dirty dishes.

Not only did I never go back there, but I never again took another bite out of any meals that came out of that house.

A woman from my church she has some mental health issues and mild learning disabilities, she said her house was getting her down so I offered to help her. Her house was absolutely filthy. Clothes, clutter and rubbish just piled everywhere. I helped her clean it. I scrubbed everything and then helped her make a cleaning schedule to follow so she could stay organised. The following week it was just as bad again because she'd made zero effort. Sometimes you just have to walk away.
