@ScreamingFox I do. I like the cheesy christmas music, the colorful lights, the snacks, the cocktails. It being daek at 5 and having a full party but still home by ten or eleven. Cards and board games. Adults upstairs knocking a few back with the sounds of the kids playing in the basement.
I lkme them even more nowadays since it is the only time of year anyone has those kinds of get togethers that used to be the normal weekend thing when we grew up. It's a type of socializing I don't find draining. I find Thanksgiving and Christmas parties very relaxing and energy charging.
@MethDozer I remember those days too. That was my kind of socializing also, I miss it. Now there's themes and contests and things you have to wear and I'm just not super into the crowd.
I miss playing cards and eating the good snacks and having a fire.

Him and Aunt Gertrude show up to the party and the kids run and hide in their rooms. The adults take a couple extra shots of whiskey. He probably wants to show pictures of his recent colonoscopy.
