I don't like odd numbers of crockery and cutlery. If one piece from a set of 4, 6, or 8 breaks or goes missing, I always feel the need to buy a whole new set.
I'm not a hoarder.

If it breaks, repair it. If it goes missing... wait, how does crockery or cutlery go missing? After you use it, after you wash and dry it, you put it back in its place.
