Are you the kind of person who watch someone get chewed up in the comments over an opinion you agree with?

I do insert myself if I become aware of a situation where someone is getting harassed or ganged up on by people disagreeing. I do try to show my alliance, nonetheless whether I insert myself in the thread from the get go, or at later point where I have observed the back and forth. On very rare occasions I'll dive into a post to argue but not so much anymore, and mostly to show a point these days.

I will chime in and respond to them, often completely ignoring whatever everyone else is saying (including the hostile comments that will be directed at me) to show solidarity. I like doing it. I don't really like to argue for fun, but I do like letting people know they're not the only one.

If it’s a genuine friend, I’ll probably jump in with an assist even if I don’t agree with her stance.

It varies. I kinda hate if someone jumps in to team up with me on someone I'm shouting at and their point is not as good at mine lmao. So I usually try to let people cook unless I feel there's something vitally important being missed or I get so mad I wanna yell at someone.

The trouble is, the people who I notice ganging up on someone I agree with are the type of people who cannot be argued with. In fact, a lot of the time, it's only a couple of people with multiple accounts all piling in on one person. It's nasty. But I do what I can.

it depends, i don’t usually get involved. but i would if i felt i should. i used to be way more dramatic.

I have a two-reply policy. First one to speak, second to clarify. After that, it’s not a discussion, it’s me wasting my time.

Depends on the opinion. Sometimes I'll defend it, if it's worth defending, but sometimes I leave well enough alone.
