@rinkydinkydoink English is very widely spoken in Norway, not quite so much so in Sweden. In both countries you can find English speakers more often in the bigger towns than in the countryside. In Oslo unless you speak perfect Norwegian there is a good chance that young people will answer you in English, that happens to me occasionally still even though I have been speaking the language for over thirty five years.
Probably everyone under forty years old will speak English to some degree in Norway and of those under twenty it's probably close to a hundred percent. Norwegians consume a lot of English language media and only children's television is dubbed.
