how can I deal with neighbors cranking music every night?
I do call the cops non emergency number but I don't think they come or if they do they start it back up again when they leave, I do it anonymously cause I don't want to hear it from my neighbors later. cant sleep here and trains bothering me all night don't help, I tried to get another apt thru Catholic charities which owns the bldg and they didn't want to do the reasonable accomodations, they never sent stuff to my doctor either cause I asked her. I had been on a waiting list for Syr housing where I used to live, I've wanted to move back so I could be with my friends, tired of spending so much time alone where no one ever asks me to do nothing with them, not even in church, I go there and no one ever asks me to go out to lunch with them after, hardly anyone calls me or ever knocks on my door to visit, I lived in syr for yrs and I would have friends there to visit with but here I don't so I've thought of moving back, I was on their waiting list for 2 yrs and about a WK and a half ago, they called me and said they had an apt if I want it, I'm taking it. I'd rather live there even if its colder and more snow there and be with friends than constantly alone, I do go places like church and the senior center but other than that I'm always alone, not even neighbors visit me. my one friend has been helping me with packing and I'm paying movers to move my stuff, I'm in Colorado now. I only moved out of syr cause of resort jobs, I don't have to worry about income cause of social security, I'm moving in another WK. I'm taking the Amtrak there, didn't want to fly cause of all the crashes and planes catching on fire lately. I'm a little nervous but that's probably normal, cant wait to see friends I haven't seen in yrs. still in touch with some of them, I'll be getting an apt that goes with income. I am going to miss some people here but I cant be in two places at the same time. I hope I don't have to hear loud music there but that's a chance I'm taking, at least it wont be by the train tracks, any suggestions on how to make this move go smoother?
