No, but i once worked in a casino in Las Vegas, so ignoring annoying "background noise" becomes a developed skill I obtained so can not relate.
Only pointers I may suggest, really just extra focus on more details to the task at hand, the outside noise somehow seems, less loud.

No, not at all. Quite the opposite. I find it hard to focus on do anything when my neighbors are being quiet as it makes me feel like every movement is loud as fuck.
I much prefer noisy neighbors over quiet neighbors because it makes it easier to be noisy and not self conscious of it.
