No. It is one of my friends in the Philippines, he sent me that photo one night we were having a discussion about the preference of Filipinos to have light skin. .... It seems like EVERYONE there uses skin whitening cream (aisles and aisles of it in the stores). The TV variety shows there have Mestiso/Mestisa (mixed Asian/white) actors/personalities and apparently much of the populous want to emulate them. It is so ingrained in the culture that many of the young women told me they wanted to marry a white person so their children would be "whiter".
