Okay. My parents were very strict and didn't understand me a lot though. I live with my brother now.

thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
Normal until I was 9. Then stressful and lonely.
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
@Menetics I'm not either. It's basically just the new religion at this point and we already know I don't care for those so it just gets added on the pile. 😂

I do my best to. :3 I'm lucky they all still put up with me through my grumpy days haha.
Menetics · 26-30, F
@thepreposterouspanda That's what love should be :) Have some chocolate when you get grumpy haha
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
@Menetics I do need to eat more dark chocolate. 🤔 Also more gummy candy because they are the best. 😌

Half stolen by fear
Menetics · 26-30, F
@Matt85 Care to share why?
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@Menetics OCD and a fear of vomitting. Demons I slay today in a heartbeat.

@Lostpoet I see, a parent's views shouldn't be forced on their children. We should think about the well-being of our children. How often do you guys have a family reunion?
Lostpoet · M
@Menetics My grandparents on my dad's side did one every year, but they passed away. I'm not sure if my family is doing them anymore .
Menetics · 26-30, F
@Lostpoet Why not do it? :o You could continue something they would've done. It's terrifying to talk about the negative experiences we had from the past but once we do, it usually sets us free.

I've made peace with it

There were both awesome and horrible parts. I prefer to think of the good things.
Menetics · 26-30, F
@CrazyMusicLover We can either learn from our parents' mistakes and let go or dwell on them and ruin our future. It's good to remember the good things though.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Menetics It's not about parents' mistakes.
Menetics · 26-30, F
@CrazyMusicLover Not for everyone but you get what I mean.
IWasCallingYaLarry · 31-35, M
Rough, lonely, then eventually got better.
Menetics · 26-30, F
@IWasCallingYaLarry It usually gets better, you just have to believe that it will.
IWasCallingYaLarry · 31-35, M
@Menetics My dad left 3 sons after the third born son was only a few months old. That son was me. Yeah, and our mom often gave us her food so we didn't starve.
Menetics · 26-30, F
@IWasCallingYaLarry I'm sorry that has happened. You're still lucky to have a mum like yours. Better give her the love she needs :)
WolfGirlwh0r3 · 36-40, T
A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum!
iamnikki · 31-35, F
Lonely, boring, bland food
Menetics · 26-30, F
@iamnikki Did you have siblings growing up?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Menetics yes, didn't make it less lonely. Big age gap
Menetics · 26-30, F
@iamnikki older or younger? :o What did you find enjoyable about childhood?
Deceased · M
A mess. And the mess was not hot.
kodiac · 22-25, M

Menetics · 26-30, F
