What are clichés in ghost movies?

Like flickering lights or moving objects
deadteddy · 26-30, F
Cellphone never works. Falling when being chased. Basement’s light bulb never works.
@deadteddy glasses fall off your face and you spend minutes trying to find them again

Doors that open then close behind you.
Something is behind you, and only the child (who doesn’t speak) can see it. Mysterious stains on the walls or ceiling.
When folks are running away, someone falls down or trips over something.

When there are loud, frightening noises coming from somewhere and rational people should be running, certain people are known for wanting to find out what it is. 😳👻

@bijouxbroussard And they're all moving in slow motion!

Lets hide in the shed where all those chainsaws are hanging up and ignore the perfectly good car sitting there. 🙄

Doors that open and close, feeling of someone's presence and the most stupid cliche is when a bunch of smarties decide to go separate ways, alone - Literally giving the ghost a chance to attack them. And there is always one drama queen or know-it-all guy.

The ghosts are always scary and seem to be angry or aggressive. Not polite or conversational..😷

They never shot the bad guys in the head
Jump Scares always get me

Someone ends up possessed by them
Transparent bodies or other forms, like mist.
