@Onestarlitnight I love all those movies!
@Sunstone
I thought that they were awful.
But then I’ve read the book a dozen times or more so I’m pretty critical

@Onestarlitnight the first one was still ok.. but by the 2nd movie and that figth scene with the barrels in the river.... i turned it off then
@RedFlower
Yup, right about the time I stopped watching too.
Over the years I’ve forced myself to watch all three episodes but it just reinforced my belief that the movie was incredibly bad

@Onestarlitnight i read the books... but i did like the lotr movie better then the books... it tightens the story, the lotr books can get really exhausting
@RedFlower
Yeah the LOTR movie was a bit better but still not great.
I can deal with it though but not the Hobbit, they really butchered the story so badly that it was not even worth watching

@Onestarlitnight Not THE worst but definitely a very expensive stink-a-roo. At most it could have been a great two part movie, but they padded the hell out of the story with a bunch of garbage filler. I saw the first movie in the theater with great expectations that were dashed 15 minutes in.
