Use buds in ears?

I saw a story on Q-Tips the other day and a company rep said their product, above all, is not meant to be inserted into the ear. I was confounded, 'cause what else are Q-Tips for?! Outside of cleaning something small once in awhile, I've only ever used them in my ears.

And yes, I know it's not good for the ears but waxy, wet ears are not good for the image.

The ENT I visited was talking about Q-tips like Batman talks about the Joker - gritting his teeth and everything...says the cause all kinds of problems, pushing wax and debris in....

if oyu put themin your ears oyu compound the wax and eventually go temporily deaf wiht blocked ears, if oyu just let your ears clean themsleve sit never happens

likemind no that is right the reckon it can cause damage to your inner ear which if you are poking about I guess it may do
