my sister just died and she lived in brooklyn, my brothers wont go to the funeral thanks to covid, and i dont want to go alone. even if i were to go do they still do funerals, or do they bury people privately and then you cant go to it, i wouldnt want to fly down there and find out thats the case. i know they have limits , any ideas?

They're doing small services, probably depends on the area, best to check with the funeral home or look online at the city policy.
Sorry for your loss.

Are there guidelines on the state website where your sister died?
I'm in the UK and a close friend of mine died recently. They were very strict on the number of people who could attend (17 in all) therefore only close family were there, so close communication is needed.
All the information was clearly stated on government/church/crematorium websites.
I hope everything goes well 🌸
just ask anyone who lived with your sister...what to do.

We put them in a cannon and fire them. Where ever they land that is where they stay

@smileylovesgaming Just be respectful of the person who's just lost her sister.

not allowing someone attend the funeral of their family would be a crime against humanity

So sorry.

Sadly, I have been to a wake. They socially distance, with masks. That was last July.

Other people are postponing services.
