How do i deal with people's paranoia about the virus

I know people can get it but people have been getting the flu for millions of yrs and noone ever shut down cause of it. i cant go to the senior center down the street, theyve been closed for months, and i miss eating with friends there,

also, i was supposed to see a friend yesterday but she bailed out on me thanks to corona, so i got stuck spending my birthday by myself, its not like i have family nearby, it was a milestone birthday too which made me feel worse about it, they were also working in the apt next to me and since i didnt want to hear all the banging and so on all day i took off and took the bus to the mall and ate out and went to the movies. it was a good movie too. the movies have been closed for months and right on my birthday they opened it up, wondered if someone upstairs did that cause he knew if i was alone then i end up treating myself to the movies, the timing was weird, so when are people going to stop being so paranoid? im sick of it, i never get sick so im one of the safest people to hang out with, any suggestions?

It's not paranoia. People are dying. We all have to make sacrifices.

@SW-User This.
This is not the flu, it’s something more deadly that currently has no vaccine. Everyone is being inconvenienced, so being selfish isn’t the answer. Wear your mask, keep your distance, and if you haven’t lost anyone consider yourself fortunate.

First of all happy birthday.

Sadly it makes no difference how healthy you are, you risk infection and infecting others. Some of which may not be as healthy as you. And this really isn't about you, it's about all of us.

I'm one of the healthiest people I know and yet I take ridiculous care because I know it's not about me or my health but people like my son who has asthma.

Take care

This is not just another flu. It’s deadly and has resulted in almost a million death world wide. You may say people die everyday for other reasons, I know, but this is a plus one to that. Soon the virus dies out the better it is for all of a us. Let’s do our part to keep others safe.

Gotta deal with some frustration for the sake of people’s lives and health it’s a small
price to pay. It’s something the whole world just has to deal with for a while so sorry to say but get used to it.
There is no vaccine for COVID-19.

Avoid mask bullies,stores that require masks and give them tuberculosis facts.

Everyone's comfort level is different, and they range from not caring(not a good idea) to overly obsessive(also not good). But it's no BS; a pregnant friend just tested positive...so who knows what the way forward is?

Some sacrifices
bring good health.
