I Have a Question

How do I make this work? i got tired of being out of work and accepted a job in a calling center, the problem is i start at 6am and buses dont run that early. should i just take cabs in the morning or stay somewhere within walking distance or what? any suggestions? its rare for me to get a job offer so i didnt want to let that stand in the way and i dont drive and i cant bike it, cant keep my balance on one, i do have a scooter but its not going to work if its snowing or raining

Pearl ... how far is it between where you live and the job?

Is the job 4 or 5 days aweek?

too far to walk and i got a bad knee, 5 days a wk
When is the 1st bus? 7:45?
Can you take the bus home?
If you are within 2-3 miles, it is likely that another worker driving in could give you a lift in the morning ... and you could use the bus home.

Colorado Metro might also have ideas ... they do run small vans

@questionWeaver: @questionWeaver: @questionWeaver: @questionWeaver: @questionWeaver: @questionWeaver: i know, im eligible for those handicapped buses but theyre booked in the mornings like that cause of others having standing schedules, already checked that
@pearllederman: good follow-up Pearl ... the problem is it is dark at 5:30 ... walking, scooters and small vehicles are not safe at that hour.

Even a taxi may be unreliable.

Can you ask friends at church?

Some retired person might help you out for a couple weeks ... if the distance was short

Do pray about it.

What is the distance?
