I did the same thing to my library card when I was in Freshman year.

I was doing some laundry and I didn't think to check my pockets before putting anything in the washing machine.

It wasn't until after I took my clothes out of the dryer, that I found my library card in one of my pants pockets.

The good news was, it came out clean but the bad news was, it came out warped.

Take the back off the batteries out and put it in a bag or rice for a week. (Dry rice of course..) Its the prescribed method for phones that get wet.. It just might work. Its not. cook the rice.. At least you have a meal.😷
