I think it makes it hard to be happy...my own thoughts

When you can be quiet within your own soul you find peace,in my opinion.

No longer chasing the next "high" makes the simple life sweet.

Oh, I so agree with you. I quit chasing highs and just enjoy my life my way without harming others and when the high comes from a new experience or task or event I give thanks to God for them and enjoy them fully.
