Organs with the potential for a specific gamete production. Whether they work or not is irrelevant (ie. a menopausal woman) but the potential is there.

@Flenflyys isn't that sex?
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
@popmol yes, the terms are interchangeable
popmol · 26-30, M
@Flenflyys apparently not, term wise, for you maybe yes :p
Flenflyys · 31-35, F

popmol · 26-30, M

@Flenflyys sex describes what genitalia you're born with, gender describes what you identify yourself as.

For most people the two match up (aka cis people), but for some of us, they don't (aka transpeople)

@zonavar68 the question was about gender ....not sex of body.

Gender is connected to identity
Sex is connected to biological definition.

Like....asking someone what nationality they identity as:

Someone could identify as American coz they niw live there, ( but he born in Lithuania).

Or...
They could identify as Lithuanian, although they've lived most of their life in America

People identify as Christians, Hippies, goths, metalheads, dog or cat lovers, etc..
...its an inner thing .

Think of vegans who have an omnivore biology -.are they vegan coz of wjat they eat....or are they omnivore coz of their biology?
