Tell me about something really small or silly that you did or made or achieved that you are actually quite pleased about.

Sometimes we do something seemingly unimportant and we are really happy or proud of it but we feel like we cant brag about it cuz its silly or whatever. Well, tell me about yours

I’m a good shot !
@TexChik I would be surprised to find that you were a poor shot.😆

@TexChik. Are you left handed?
TexChik · F
@UnderLockDown why ? I could be blind in one eye and not see well out of the other ! I was raised by a marine . Missing wasn’t something daddy thought much of 🤷🏻‍♀️

@TexChik You are deadly.

@tallpowerhouseblonde just a good shot 😉

@TexChik my groupings move slightly to the right like yours does to the left so I was making a guess... good shooting either way !
TexChik · F
@Jlhzfromep The .40 were double taps . The 9 was new , I had never shot it before .
My first 4 were way left , I walked it over.
Jlhzfromep · M
@TexChik understandable on the new one.. they all shoot a touch different so you have to go to the range to know your weapon

@Jlhzfromep I only carry Glocks . I have better quality weapons but if they get dirty they don’t fire . Glocks do .
Jlhzfromep · M
@TexChik my is a SIG but I wouldn’t mind having a Glock
@TexChik For some reason this makes me think of a scene from Super Troopers...😆

@TexChik nice! Distance? This is the third mag run through a new .45 ACP 1911 - decided to try rapid fire (approx one round per second)
at 30 feet.

@Ontheroad 25 ft

@TexChik that's some serious good shooting! Here is the picture I neglected to add before. Not nearly as good as your shot groups, but with a new pistol and trying to fire as fast as possible, I felt pretty good about it.

@Ontheroad Its a lethal grouping. Nothing wrong with it! I shoot every week at home and at the farm sometimes every day. I carry and have taken a lot of situational training. The last thing I ever want is to need to draw my weapon and fire it at someone, but I certainly will if threatened. The marksmanship training just helps ensure the safety of others if that ever happens.

@TexChik It's definitely lethal and when I don't push for rapid fire it gets a lot better. Actually I have now added a rail and Crimson Trace green laser... took a moment to get it zeroed, but it sure improves accuracy 😁. I don't practice nearly as much as you do, but after having carried a 1911 in combat and 20 years as a soldier, I'm confident with my skills... however, one does need to practice and I'm hell on tin cans! 🤣
