Who ever thought of describing "oink" as the sound a pig makes?

A Korea girl told me that in Korean the sound of a pig is like "gwerr, gwerr".

Pig sounds * freeze mother fucker *

I agree, but the only pigs who make an oink sound are little piglets, not full grown adult pigs. Piglets make more of a squeaking sound than an actual grunt sound like adults otherwise do.
