Have you ever returned anything to the grocery store?

I feel like returning this bag of oranges I bought. They're all dry and tasteless 馃が
Yep. If you have your receipt take them back and they'll exchange them
i returned a couple of cans of tuna that had no tuna, just olive oil inside
@pentacorn I probably wouldn't be buying that brand again..
@Lilymoon it was top-of-line white albacore in olive oil, my favorite. it was just a production line issue, i think. never happened again
@pentacorn that's good I love white albacore 馃構
Bought a box of Whitman Chocolates from Kroger on sale and they refunded me the original price!
The chocolates were disgusting.
Bought some mild that went sour before it鈥檚 time and they refunded $9 on a $6 purchase.
Let me know if it is Kroger!
@Pfuzylogic damn no kroger here!
@Lilymoon Meijer or what is it?
Notsimilarreally31-35, F
Yup! Do it
spjennifer56-60, T
Done it a few times, usually for soured milk that was weeks before it's best before date but it hasn't happened in a long while now.

I bought a $7 dollar bag of Cuties ( oranges ) and I've never had such tasteless fruit in my life
gdon3941-45, M

@gdon39 haha! I wish we lived closer!
gdon3941-45, M

Well.....when I was a teenager...from highschool....ummm...I......

Let's just say I use to like to party and getting wasted.

We've collect over 50 bottles of 151 barcardi.

I did steal one bottle once. my so called friends did the rest so many times.

I did regret though later on
Most of the time if fruit tastes yucky I don鈥檛 return it but I did return some foods that tasted spoiled. I think it鈥檚 our right to return food that isn鈥檛 good. To hell with them. They make us pay too much anyway.
@SW-User I know that's true
SinlessOnslaught26-30, M
If you didn't return the oranges then I'm gonna break into your house and return them for you. Then break back in and replace them with good oranges.
@SinlessOnslaught I should but I know I won't 馃槥
SinlessOnslaught26-30, M
@Lilymoon Lock your doors
I hate it when that happens. Seems too often with tangerines. Yes, I got ground turkey and when I poked the package with a knife to open it, it was rotten, spoiled, smelled awful.
I've had that happen to me or when I buy a bag of Grapefruit I have to check each one because it always seems like there's one bad grapefruit in each bag. I never take things back.
Mellowgirl31-35, F
It's bad I bought some and they spoiled.
Literally were molding. How is that possible? Right back they went.
@Mellowgirl damn I need to start doing that 馃槕
Mellowgirl31-35, F
@Lilymoon go for it.
skybubble2056-60, F
Last time, a pumpkin was bad one, so I took a photo of it and brought a receipt...they gave me refund.
I just threw the pumpkin away.

no I haven't I can't be bothered.
And I hate that 馃槫
@Peter449 me too... I can never be bothered either but shit!!! 馃槫
Yes, I have had bad produce be rotten, and outdated items.
SmoothKnight51-55, M
Try giving them a good squeeze first next time.....
They pick them too early.
@Spoiledbrat ahh you're probably right....and these were usa oranges I was hoping they'd be good 馃槖
DeWayfarer61-69, M
@Lilymoon Big difference on where they were grown in the USA. It's a big country and right now California is going through drought issues. But not Florida.

Believe it or not California even gets much of theirs from Florida now. The water issues are that bad. Yet there are still some orange growers who have their water restricted.
Livingwell61-69, M
Yes... a few times. Bad stuff that could make one sick.
noexpectations141-45, M

PicnicOfDoom36-40, M

DavidScott51-55, M

Then I return all those to get refund 馃檱鈥嶁檧锔
@Raaii these weren't low quality though... I bet they were old tho 馃槥
WormMan51-55, M
I have, they usually don't question it
@WormMan I don't think I have the receipt 馃槵
WormMan51-55, M
@Lilymoon hmmm It might be harder, does the bag have a bar code on it? If they scan it and they sell it there, they may let you exchange it for another bag
@WormMan yeah they're probably all the same
Yes. A rotisserie chicken that had baked in maggots.
WormMan51-55, M
@Lilymoon I didn't put them there 馃槀
oh sorry I meant @Azlotto 馃槄
@WormMan They were beautiful maggots but a little too overdone.
uncalled456-60, M
