I had an adult cousin who was some kind of St. Louis checkers champion when I was about 11. We were at a family reunion and no one would play checkers with him because he always won. I volunteered and beat him. Boy, was he upset! We played another game and he won. He probably lost because he wasn't paying attention and didn't think I was serious competition. But I whooped his ugly Big City butt!
