Do you use your iPhone 8 just as a telephone or do you use up the data each month surfing the web too?

The iPhone 8 is the same weight as the iPhone 16 (about 170 grams/6oz) and the only upgrade difference is the full-face screen, larger battery and greater array of camera lenses on the 16, despite the 16 having a much lighter aluminum casing compared to the iPhone 8.
Additionally, the iPhone 16's screen is totally scratch-resistant which means you don't have to buy a protective case to put the phone in to carry it around, which again, lightens the overall weight. The 16 is the smallest cellphone with data you can buy which makes it easy to carry in a pocket.

In the late 90s early 2000s I used to enjoy shopping for a new phone as they were always completely different to the previous one, but with iPhones they’re so similar I hang on as long as possible

My phone just barely works. I spent many years talking on the phone for a living and it's not something I enjoy. I don't make or get many phone calls but I do like to text.

I hate the process of changing over so much I'll keep my old phone until I can't.

For it to be free.

The only reason to get a new phone is if mine dies. I don`t use it for anything internet wise
