True or false nobody respects the person that tries to live a straight and narrow life all the time?

I live a straight and narrow life and no one respects me. Dagnabit all to Heck!

Its not true That "nobody" would respect them. People within certain social groups might not. But alot of people try to change thier life when it gets really dark and aspire to be better.

Those are the people with wisdom from both sides of life.
