Ok I am creeped out

I checked my emails spam folder and I saw a notification from a dating site I've never heard of/been on. Went to the profile and sure enough it was my face but an older photo of me from my late 20s, birthday was right as was my email. Location was wrong they got the city wrong. I changed the password and deleted my photo and the account. I have no idea who made it or how they got that photo of me but they did. Especially because I never had that photo on social media. It's one of those stored on my laptop I took off my phone ages ago to create storage space. I'm creeped out.

I have a big question. If you didn't create it, how did you log into the profile to change it?

@Prison1203 yes, I'm waiting on the answer. As they once said, ponderous man, ponderous.

@Gibbon No idea I clicked the link to see the notification and it was already logged in

@separatetheheart that's very odd if you had never been there before.. I'm not going to bother getting into why I say that.

You can check the history of your email account, if that account was verified with your email, or just an open profile.

You may want to check your laptop for a virus. Someone may have access.
I had someone watching and filming me through my laptop one time. He would send me emails once in a while asking for money or he would show the video to my family.. It was just me walking around naked, not a big deal, but still, kinda creepy.
I always put tape over the laptop camera now.

What was the name of the site?

That is horrible & scary.
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@ineedadrink I don't even know how or why.

did you drunk make it and forget or did someone make it of you? but they used your email..
The first thought is that it's someone close to you.
The second thought is that it was on your laptop and the laptop is connected to the internet. You do what you can to prevent that sort of thing happening but there's always that risk.
