Days like today I wish my kids would eat cereal or something but nooo lol

They requested homemade blueberry waffles, eggs and banana for breakfast lol oh well at least they have an appetite

They’ve already put in their dinner order they want chicken pot pie soup with biscuits

I’ll do something easy for them for lunch and snacks but it’s going to have to be a rest day today

I’ll stick with plain rice and toast for myself and hope for the best because I don’t feel like making a whole different dish every meal for myself 🤢

Better than most kids. My cousin refused to eat anything except cheerios and pizza as a kid.

@MommaBear aww nice, sweet.. i rather like waffles too.. i make them sometimes
I love this for you. I know it's crazy, but this time in life you'll remember fondly.

I'm on the other side, grown and gone. But I still hear their little feet, see their grubby hands and toothless grins. Happily eating my breakfast. 💙

@dragonfly46 I truly love it even the hard days when I’m not feeling good

Wheat box with Milo or any milk and cereal go great together
Birdbox1986 · 31-35, F
@MommaBear it’s an Australian cocoa it’s better than cocoa I’m sure you have it in the USA there’s plenty of Australians in the USA if you have Vegemite you have Milo you have it with milk either warm or cold it’s soooooo goooood, and it’s healthy give you and your kids plenty of energy
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Birdbox1986 oh that sounds like something called nesquick (I think that’s what it’s called) it’s a chocolate powder that you can put in milk
Birdbox1986 · 31-35, F
@MommaBear no it is different its similar but it’s not nesquik, it’s Australian it

So they haven't been badly hit with the cootie that you have?
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@ineedadrink oh they have but they handle being sick really well usually I on the other hand don’t it’s really hard on me
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
Do they all eat the same thing? Then it's not so bad but mine would be, I want choc chips, I want blue berries and one would be wandering around refusing to sit at the table or make a choice lol
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@PatientlyWaiting25 luckily they are all very easy going and usually agree on meals pretty well and if it’s something that they don’t care for they will still give it a chance but will mostly eat the other things given (like my toddler hates oatmeal but she will still try it every single time)
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
@MommaBear that's awesome. I read somewhere that when kids try something ten times or more they eventually develop a taste for it. That happened with my son and grainy textures like bulgar wheat, rice or couscous. Now he eats all of them happily.
