And on top of this normally I never even eat 3 meals a day not pregnant so it’s extra hard then

Can you eat much smaller amounts, little and often instead of three meals a day?
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@PatientlyWaiting25 the problem is my midwife wants me to also monitor my blood sugar 4x a day once when I wake up and after each meal due to history of gestational diabetes
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
@MommaBear hopefully you will feel a lot better after the first trimester xx
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@PatientlyWaiting25 I’m hoping so I have a couple more weeks until then

Have you tried drinks like Boost or Premier?
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@RebelRaven I haven’t since they have dairy in them but I do drink vegan protein shakes and if I can stomach them they are good but it’s been hard to stomach lately
Just do 2 meals a day. It's for your baby. If you throw it up, so be it, but at least you tried. Hugs.

I dunno, from the many pregnant women I've talked to, it's only important to eat something if you're one that isn't eating at all. Just do nutrient dense snacks, don't worry about the 3 meals a day thing, that might be too much for both of you. I know this is your 16th kid, but maybe your doctor is working with old info
