I'm British but I've thought for along time that prostitution should be legal, it would be easier to keep it clean if regular health checks were part of being registered and also help to prevent modern slavery and exploitation. They would also pay tax on earnings.
I think we have more to worry about than victimless “crime”. I just don’t know how you’d regulate the health aspects and assure that the women were there of their own free will. If you could solve those two problems, it would give women legal right over their own bodies.
