9 months sober

My mom is never going to get help for her addiction. I got help for my alcoholism because I was driving drunk and going to work drunk everyday and I was just a mess. And I’m 9 months sober now. I used to do what she does too but I cold turkeyed it because of the constant urine texts I take plus my naltrexone. I was scared of prison lol She won’t get help. I think getting help was a brave thing I did. It took being drunk to decide it though.

Very well done going without alcohol for such a long time. Will be very close now to not even thinking about alcohol ever again.
I really hope you succeed and there is no reason for you not to beat it. Vigilance is the key. Don't be fooled by thinking you have beat this awful addiction. Stay away from the next drink and you will prosper, physically and mentally.
