looks like thick slice bologna from the chub; in oklahoma it'd normally have been smoked.

@XenonRush yeah, it's surprisingly good. in michigan, they take the smaller ring bologna, grind it up with pickles and use lots of mayo... for pickle bologna.

It’s definitely braunschweiger. It’s liver sausage. The stuff is horrible. My dad loved it. He put a thick slice of onion on it. I think onions are poisonous just like that sausage is but Dad ate it like it was candy & he only lived till he was 97.

@XenonRush It's not the most ordered sandwich at the deli, if that's what you mean. My step-dad is the only one in the whole family who will eat it. Same with pickled herring.....gross.
